The custom made paper selection method is rather straightforward. First, choose the size of custom printed ribbon you want. Click on OK. That's it. You've now defined a custom paper style. It is available for future use, recorded beneath the design drop down menu, with the custom name you chose.

Once the custom made paper types are selected, a wizard will appear. Choose a driver to incorporate into your printerif it doesn't already have one installed. Your custom paper type will be indexed by your own printer driver. After the driver is complete, any customization you wish to apply will be listed too. You may also preview any custom made document you have created.

Should you wish to create a different layout from your original choice, simply pick a unique drop-down listing and enter the amounts you'd like to print. Enter the size you would like your custom layout to be, and the custom made paper types that you'd like to use. A pop up window will appear. Use the arrows to make adjustments. As before, you will have to choose"Print" and"Change Selection".

If you find there are any difficulties with your custom paper size, then choose"Cancel", and then click OK. You have finished your first custom design! The following step would be to set up the printer driver. It is typically very simple and may take no more than five minutes.

Note: You don't have to use your printer for this particular undertaking. Many printers have a CD/DVD drive which has a driver for custom dimensions.(Look to your manufacturer's site for your product lineup.) When you've installed the driver, you can see your custom paper sizes from the"Printers and Faxes" section of the Control Panel.

There are many more options on the new Microsoft printers for printing custom dimensions. In earlier versions, they have been limited to replicate and scan paper dimensions.
