Ha<\/span><span class=\"a\"> medida que el conocimiento humano\u00a0 fu\u00e9 evolucionando, le fue urgente el comenzar a<\/span><span class=\"a\">representar las cantidades en forma de dibujos, para seguir en forma precisa los ciclos <\/span><span class=\"a\">de la naturaleza, dejar mensajes a sus semejantes o para seguir con la contabilizaci\u00f3n de <\/span><span class=\"a\">sus posesiones que rebasaban la cantidad de 10. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ff2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial black', sans-serif;\"><span class=\"a\">Hasta ese momento el hombre <span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">registraba\u00a0 en dibujos su forma de vida, los<\/span><\/span><span class=\"a\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"> peligros\u00a0que\u00a0corr\u00edan,\u00a0c\u00f3mo\u00a0era\u00a0su\u00a0entorno,\u00a0las\u00a0posesiones\u00a0que\u00a0ten\u00eda,\u00a0etc.<\/span>\u00a0Y\u00a0las\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">cantidades comenzaron tambi\u00e9n a plasmarse en s\u00edmbolos iguales que se limitaban a <\/span><span class=\"a\">contar hasta llegar al n\u00famero que se quer\u00eda registrar. <\/span><span class=\"a\">Surgi\u00f3 entonces <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ff2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial black', sans-serif;\"><span class=\"a\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">La representaci\u00f3n pict\u00f3rica de los n\u00fameros, los cuales consist\u00edan <\/span><\/span><span class=\"a\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">en una consecuci\u00f3n de l\u00edneas o puntos consecutivos.<\/span> Un sistema que para contabilizar <\/span><span class=\"a\">hac\u00eda muy dif\u00edcil la lectura r\u00e1pida de los n\u00fameros, a diferencia de los grabados que se<\/span><span class=\"a\">refer\u00edan a los objetos que estaban representando. Por ende, comenzaron a separar las <\/span><span class=\"a\">l\u00edneas en grupos de diez. El t\u00e9rmino \u00abracional\u00bb alude a una fracci\u00f3n o parte de un todo.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"co8aDb XcVN5d\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" role=\"heading\">Los\u00a0<b>n\u00fameros racionales<\/b>\u00a0son todos los\u00a0<b>n\u00fameros<\/b>\u00a0que son susceptibles de ser expresados como una fracci\u00f3n, es decir, como el cociente de dos\u00a0<b>n\u00fameros<\/b>\u00a0enteros.<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\n<b>Ejemplos\u00a0de\u00a0n\u00fameros racionales<\/b><\/div>\n<div class=\"RqBzHd\">\n<ul class=\"i8Z77e\">\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">142.<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">3133.<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">69,96 (1749\/25)<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">625.<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">7,2 (36\/5)<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">3,333333 (3\/10)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En las\u00a0<strong>operaciones matem\u00e1ticas<\/strong>\u00a0que se hacen a diario para resolver cuestiones cotidianas, casi todos los n\u00fameros que se manejan son racionales, pues la categor\u00eda abarca a todos los\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ejemplos.co\/20-ejemplos-de-numeros-enteros\/\">n\u00fameros enteros<\/a>\u00a0y a una gran parte de los que llevan\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ejemplos.co\/ejemplos-de-numeros-decimales\/\">decimales<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>los n\u00fameros fraccionarios racionales como los <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ejemplos.co\/20-ejemplos-de-numeros-irracionales\/\">irracionales<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(su contraparte) son categor\u00edas infinitas.\u00a0Sin embargo, estos se comportan de diferente manera: los n\u00fameros racionales son comprensibles y, en tanto representables por fracciones, su valor se puede aproximar con un criterio simplemente matem\u00e1tico, no ocurre esto con los irracionales.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"tema_tipos-de-fracciones\"><strong>Tipos de fracciones<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"des_pol\" class=\"r\"><strong>Fracciones propias<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"a\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial black', sans-serif;\">Son aquellas cuyo numerador es menor que el denominador.
