- Read this short interview Alan has with Mr. Norton about his ideal world. Then answer the questions below.
Alan: Good morning Mr. Norton. Thanks for helping me with my interview on our ideal world.
Mr. Norton: Good Morning Alan. It is a pleasure.
Alan: Well, I know you have been working with the community for about 5 years to help children working on the streets. I am interested in knowing what your ideal world would be like, especially for children.
Mr. Norton: Children are our future so I would protect them. My ideal world would be a safe place for children. All children would have food, a home, love and access to education.
Alan: if you were the head of a country, what would you do?
Mr. Norton: If I ran the country, I would make sure that rights are respected.
Alan: what would your ideal country be like?
Mr. Norton: There would be social justice. So, all citizens would have social security´, all senior citizens would have a pension and health care.
Also people would share their opinions freely with others. People would use dialogue and no guns to solve conflicts.
Alan: It sounds like a great place. Thanks Mr. Norton for sharing your ideas with us.
